Having to fight the stay puffed Marshmallow man at the end of 1 was really stupid.
Vego the carpathian was a badass.

I just don't get it. I watched both today and quickly realized the 1 is just not as entertaining as 2.
Vigo the art museum demon. The ghost train in the subway. The river of evil ectoplasm. The flying ghost nanny. The dancing toaster....
There's just more going on in number 2. Far more entertaining.

I broke the VHS for 1 when I was a kid, So I watched 2 more. We went through 2 copies of each because I watched those two movies so much as a kid.
This is one of the best scenes of both movies

May be my favorite line.
I've contended before that Ghostbusters is one of the best sequels of all time. It's not as good as one, but I think it's more quotable (and that's not a knock on 1...both are greatly quotable) and has a better villain (Vigo > Zuul/Gozer...even though I do think the SPMM in 1 is awesome).

Ghostbusters. And for those of you who don't see the humor in them fighting a giant Stay Puffed Marshmellow Man at the end of the movie....I pity you. That's a classic scene.
Especially when you weigh the description The Keymaster gave of past forms Gozer took with what we finally got at the end of the movie:
