Oregon Alabama Clemson LSU

FSU needs to beat someone first (Clemson beat UGA/Bama beat aTm)

Louisville and Ohio State don't play anyone worthwhile period. No quality opponents, no respect, no place in the playoff.

Their schedule hasn't been great by any means but I've watched most of their games (as I have the other top teams) and they look to be the most complete team so far this season on both sides of the ball.

Of course, all the questions will be answered this weekend. Favored on the road vs the #3 team in the country says something too.

Bama
Clemson

Those 3 are locks in any system, IMO.

The 4th team is tougher, I really don't know who I'd send.

This confirmed my feeling that the 4 team playoff is going to cause more problems than the BCS did. By the end of the year, we'll have probably 2 undefeateds and a bunch of 1-loss teams.

Even if it was 8 teams then there would be some two loss teams that would make it and some that wouldnt. There will always be controversy in college football.

Realistically, this is what would happen, perhaps Clemson jumping to #2. I'm not sold on OSU though so I'd have LSU in their place.

My personal top 4:

Alabama
Oregon
Clemson
Florida St

The four that the committee would pick:

Alabama
Oregon
Clemson
Ohio St

Bama
Oregon
Clemson
Ohio St

I think OSU is weak but I can't justify putting both Clemson and FSU in when one is going to knock the other off this weekend. Next up is LSU, but no dice unless one of those 4 loses.

Does anyone else feel like Bama and Oregon have been on a collision course for an epic, BCS-ending showdown for a few seasons now? Just seems like its a matchup that the entire country would have liked to see for the last 4 years and it just never happened.

They should just take the top 4 BCS rankings and put them in the playoffs.

The committee is bullshite and will cause a shite load of drama, way more than the BCS ever did.

This would be my top 4. Ohio State would lose handily to all of these teams on a neutral field.

This weekend will obviously help shape the top 4 with either Clemson or FSU going down. IMO after this weekend the committee would have a no brainer with 4 undefeated teams and assumed conference champions in Alabama, Oregon, Clemson/FSU, and Ohio St. If UCLA is able to win at Stanford, then you're looking at having to include them in the picture as well. You could wind up with undefeated UCLA playing undefeated Oregon in the Pac 12 title game.

Louisville right there, but their shite schedule hurts them more than anything. Sure, the ACC is garbage outside of 3 teams, but the American Conference is shite.

Obviously the ACC is far superior to the AAC. Not to mention the FSU still has Florida non-conference and Clemson has already beat UGA and still plays South Carolina. Louisville's non-conference is just as lame as it's conference schedule.

This is def subject to change but as of right now.......IMO its all about who is playing the best and maybe not the better team.

Bama[just hitting its stride]
Oregon[not sure what team can stop that offense]
LSU[ Could beat anyone right now.]
Baylor[ Surprised here they are just gonna get better]

Yeah. That powerful schedule of theirs shows off that they can really play defense against some monster powerhouse offenses.
