I'm not going to offer suggestions because I am not paid to run an event

but what went on Saturday at the West Side entrances was the most poorly handled thing at any event of any type I have very been to. That scene very nearly got ugly. Quite a few folks were borderline about to lose their shite with the cops/LSU entrance workers. I get the construction issues but only having enough employees to man one entrance is inexcusable.

I know a guy that is a supervisor for the Event Staff that has Bama, Auburn, Ole Miss, State and seccg. All logistics and security in and out of stadiums. He said LSU uses their competitor. Just stating

The problem is people all like to go to the south entrance on the west side. That line was 100-150 people deep while the north entrance on the west side was maybe 30 people deep.

I sit on the east side most of the time and this week was the first time I had ever seen them frisking random people without a purse. They skipped me luckily but most people in line got patted down a little.

What does this have to do with them only having 1 gate open?

The thinking might be that if you can't get in the game till halftime, you'll stay till the end. Problems solved!

Kind of like making people wait 3 hours to eat. They always love your food!

This is almost correct, everyone stops to get in line at the south entrance, we got to stadium 5 min. before kickoff, enormous lines at south entrances as always, walked around line and 50 yards to north entrance where there was no wait. Literally no wait, two people in front of me in line.

They made the lady in front of me get rid of her LSUshop bag from some t-shirts and nick nacks she bought before the game because it was too big to go into the game. Unbelievable.

Look, when you pay $70 or more dollars for an event, it's on the officials putting on the event to move people into that event in an efficient manner. I got in the game fine, but I saw some of the same gigantic lines I have been seeing the last few games at other gates. It shouldn't take people 30 minutes to get in any gate. They need to work it out.
