We got screwed in the game, plain and simple. Blind if you don't see that
And the Saints have NEVER in the 45 or however many years of existence benefitted from calls, right?

We're always the ones to get screwed. Every time we lose, I come here, and it's only the Saints that ever get screwed.

It's amazing that a lightbulb never goes off when you think about it.

We get one first down at the end of the game and none of these threads would have to be made. Simple as that.

from a site that follows and examines the refs-

The image is compelling, but calls are not made from still images. I re-watched the game-winning touchdown play to make sure. The action depicted here is very quick, but I’m inclined to think that this was a hold. The defender is clearly constrained in his pursuit.

This does get called no matter how pivotal the play, so I can’t accept that the officials holstered their flags for this. I think it was just a case that it wasn’t seen. (In the image here, you can see the umpire does not have a look on it, because he is screened by two other players.)

No one said anything like that first of all. And let's not act like some of these calls were 50/50. The false start and not giving a time out/ delay of game were incredibly blatant. Just not even close.

But they should see everything because we get to see 40 different replay angles and stillshots!!!!

It was clearly a hold, I don't think that is up for debate after watching it on replay.

Don't forget that on a play that should have never been allowed to continue (either with a timeout or a delay penalty) we had a pick in field goal range AND Graham hurt his leg, something that could affect us EVEN BEYOND THIS GAME. No possible way an officiating crew should miss both the timeout signal and the obvious delay penalty.

If you want my honest opinion, it's what losers do, and that's in all aspects of life. Don't like an outcome, it's ok, just don't accept responsibility, we'll blame someone else. Get outta here with that.

I was just sugarcoating it the first go round.

WAH, IT'S ALWAYS SOMEONE ELSE'S FAULT. WOE IS ME!!!

It's about the least manliest thing a sports fan can do.

Even though you pissed me off with an intended insult recently, you are right-on here!  Folks who bitch like these puss's about a football game likely have nothing more important in their lives and make excuses for everything...the likelihood they have self confidence or personal achievement is very low.

Of course, the biggest losers are some Texan fans right now...I live near Houston...Jesus!

I have to agree with shell; shite happens to every team. Just accept it.

As for the timeout, someone in another thread said it had to do with Drew signaling straight ahead and not signaling or looking at the ref, thus the reason the ref didn't grant them a timeout. I'm not rule guru but maybe you guys could look into that.

And, on Saturday, the refs screwed my sons college football team...but that's family...so I'll bitch about the 3-4 personal fouls, throaty-slashing gestures, etc that should have been called against the thugs they played...too many no calls. And the whole juggling catch on the sideline thing...wtf!

You guys do realize that there are multiple officials on the field right?

so instead of an int, we have a fumble in the endzone for a TD

Meh. It's a good loss. We came back on the road and should have nailed it. Hopefully we'll learn.... Coaches and players alike.

The TO signal was not demonstrative enough...hands were up anyway to take snap. Officials aren't all watching the QB. They should have tried to call TO earlier!

Perhaps the officials were too busy watching the play clock!

I don't think the backjudge is allowed to grant a timeout to the qb.

He was the only official in a position to see Drew's signal, but as was said, it wasn't over his head or to the side but where his hands would be for the snap.

They rarely talk about the Saints ne damn way, so what makes you think they are going to question the officiating.
