Starting with breaking form and passing out flyers in the PMAC for Tigerama. The halftime show had little movement other than moving to the endzone and was poorly received by the fans. The postgame show callers were having none of it.

Tiger Band topped off a rough day by starting the postgame team alma mater without Les there to sing like he loves to do. The players had wtf looks on their face and were waving for the band to cut it off and wait for Coach.

Fans and players against the band. I'll blame it on the hot sun.

The band was absolutely atrocious yesterday. It was my first game of the season and I was flabbergasted at how bad it was.

Gotta bring back Neck and TR, its just not the same experience or atmosphere without the band leading the way. The piped in music is killing the experience.

Les Miles has lost control of the band.

That halftime show was pure shite! I don't know if they have ever heard of straight lines. It was embarrassing.

As much as I like Roy King, the band has gone downhill since he's been here.

Roy was best when he was in charge of Bengal Brass. He was a perfect match for the environment.

Yep. It was the same in the stadium. Our band just isn't very loud anymore.

It was hot. Try wearing that shite and playing ANY musical instrument and marching around for people who who don't much less give a frick. They'd rather hear that silly piped in shite.

But all of that is GREAT because some of the players like rap music.

Amidoingitright?

Wow, I take most "the band sucks now" posts with a grain of salt, but this post makes some great points.

I'm going to up vote the OP.

The TV mic's are closer to the visiting band than our band.

Not that I care that much about what happens at half, but at least the songs were recognizable and from this century...and didn't have "latin flair"...

No Beatles song either. Thumbs up for the new music.

Really?? That's weird. We sat above their band and we were talking about how we never even heard them (which was a good thing for us with the "Go Gators" song that they usually play 5000 times.
