Anyone know if LSU has plans to change out/modernize the tube TVs hanging above the snack bars in the stadium? Those things must be pre 1990s.

Looks like the boxes they are mounted in weigh 100 pounds each. Would hate to be under one of those if they broke loose.

The ones in my section seem like the tubes are going out and are mostly static.

What's a LED/Plasma cost these days?

This always surprised me as one of the things that have gone without updating. A half arse decent 42" flat screen runs about $300-$400.

Stay in your seat and you don't have to worry about any TV's and when they are getting updated.

I agree...those in my area are basically useless...

they do face the sun though, so I would think they would have to take anything better down between games, which would be kind of labor intensive...

Being under inside the stadium at the consessions stands/bathrooms is a blast back to the 1970s/1980s. NOTHING has changed.

What a joke

Geez...why does there have to be a dick in every thread trying to gain e-cred from the rant?
