So what exactly happened with the switched timeout? I've read the whole thread and still cant figure out what happened.

It has zero bearing on this discussion because it happened in the first quarter.

Saints called a TO. refs came back and said the Patriots called it first.

Everybody thinks the Pats got an extra TO in the second half but I double checked and it was an error by Fox.

And I think the Saints got fricked all day.

And I haven't had a drink all day.

They got 5 time outs and free UGGs for the refs. End of story.

Unless fox screwed up then they were awarded a extra timeout.

When the refs look like they were " In the bag for the pats" I started a thread
"the NFL has decided the pats would win this game "

I made during the second quarter.

the admins have deleted it.

If the pats did get 4 time outs the admins should reinstate my thread and sticky it

They did NOT get an extra time out. The Saints essentially gave them an extra time out with the incomplete pass to Colston on their 2nd to last possession with about 2:25 left on the clock. Then came the field goal by the Saints with a stopped clock. The Saints used a whopping 22 seconds of clock on that possession.

Yep. Payton has done stupid shite before and he will again. This was another example. The stupid fricking play calling was terrible. The pass on 3rd down instead of a run to make the Cheatriots burn a TO? They looked reserved to just kick a FG, so why not run?

That left them with a TO on that final drive and was the nail in the coffin. Refs fricked the Saints all day, but they didn't give them 4 TOs. And even with getting screwed, the Saints would've won the game had Payton not called such a shitty game.

Thankfully, Payton will make more good decisions than this games terrible decisions. The Saints will still do a lot better than the cocksucking Cheatriots.

Jesus Christ How many times do I have to tell you that FOX WAS WRONG? I even said 10 times in three threads the EXACT MOMENT when Fox made the mistake.

Fox could have accidentally put that it was the 4th quarter when it was really the third quarter, and some of you would be bitching that the officials made them play 5 quarters.

Remember on 1/9/12 when ABC accidentally put up the graphic that LSU was beating Alabama 9-0 at halftime? Did you then bitch that "the refs took 9 points away from LSU and gave them to Alabama?"

How did they look reserved to kick a FG when they were passing for the first down?

Really?

New Orleans Saints at 02:46
1-10-NE24 (2:46) K.Robinson right tackle to NE 20 for 4 yards (J.Collins).
2-6-NE20 (2:36) P.Thomas left guard to NE 21 for -1 yards (M.Forston).
3-7-NE21 (2:33) D.Brees pass incomplete deep left to M.Colston (A.Dennard).
4-7-NE21 (2:29) G.Hartley 39 yard field goal is GOOD, Center-J.Drescher, Holder-T.Morstead.

Reserved as in running for the first 2 downs which was fine. Why not run again and force NE to burn a TO? They were kicking a FG.

Go look on KMDL website. They have the video. THAT'S the only way they could have won. By cheating and by the refs "NOT SEEING" the holding on that touchdown pass with 5 sec. left

I remember in the 3rd quarter the Saints being credited with a timeout in which Brees corrected the referee and he changed it to a Patriots timeout. Leave it to these dumb fricks to try and screw us here as well. That means they had 2 timeouts after getting stopped on 4th down. In the next two possessions they call 3 timeouts.

can you find this on a DVR and post a video replay of it for us on here to see? I don't have access to one but I felt something was wrong with the timeouts the whole second half but I had no way to prove it. If the results are conclusive I recommend you send it to Mike Pierera, Sean Peyton, and every local and national sports media outlet.
