With LSU humming on both sides of the ball now that Tiger "D" is taking control, does anyone really think that Alabama or Oregon could beat LSU straight up? I don't!

We've played six straight quarters of good football - let's let the rest if this season unfold before we get too crazy.
Ole Miss will be another big test and if we can survive, we have a cupcake and then the two biggest games of the year - we can then start talking about how good we are.

Oregon would beat us by probably 10-14 points on a neutral field right now.

But if we get them in the national championship game, that margin will be much closer. All that practice time for our young defense before the game would be invaluable.

Oregon is what they are. They aren't gonna get any better.

The PAC 12 is the most over-rated conference in all of college football.

Oregon's so called speed is average in the SEC. They would not get the corners against the defenses of LSU or 'Bama and their vertical running game would suffer.

Oregon's lines on both sides would not be able to take the physicality of these superior SEC lines.

LSU or 'Bama would take Oregon in a cakewalk.

Now, Oregon does have some mighty fine looking chearleaders...

as for as bama i will let you know Nov 10.
Let's see if we get through the second half of the season healthy and without any major let downz. that is a big task in itself. If all this comes to pass and we play whoever in the east and win sec then we will get a shot a proving our worth. Their are tons of things which stand in our way. How well we handle and overcome these pitfalls will tell the tale. way to early to make that call now. Just look at how close Ole Miss played Johnny Foosball last night. Staying inury free is also a big element in our ultimate success or failure.. Hill,Met, Landry,Beckham got to stay healthy for us to have a shot.

So one good defensive game against a moribund offense and it's "taking control"?

Let's see how we deal with a spread first?

I'm as much of a Tiger fanatic as anybody; but I totally agree with what you're saying here. Too bad some people always set up unreasonable expectations, bragging and boasting, as if their words alone will win the day. Running this stacked table is not going to be for the faint of heart. And the rubber next meets the road next week in Oxford. This is the way of the SEC.
