Is Verne Lundquist the Worst Commentator Ever?

Seriously. He called Magee "Morrison." He claimed Drew Alleman played for Florida. He basically mails it in every game and stumbles over everything he says. Can you think of a worse commentator? Maybe Gary Danielson?

Verne is the worst. Gary knows what he's talking about but he still isn't a great commentator imo. That may just be Verne clouding my perception of thim

Gary has to complete his sentences for him. I will never understand why these old dinosaurs are not put out to pasture sooner. Just like Mussberger.

Yea Gary has to correct him too. For some reason it seems like the longer commentators survive, the more they are admired by the media. Very strange.

To me Verne is like a drunk uncle. You tolerate him to a certain extent. Danielson seems arrogant and toolish.
