Sorry for killing your moose

quote:

They claim they did not realise that their trophy would spark outrage among the Mi'kmaq, who believe albino creatures to be 'spirit' animals.

I can see where they're coming from. In Arizona we have many sacred creatures that have meaning and I can personally testify that I have felt my inner soul and mood change when the rains come in.

What about albino squirrels, rabbits etc where do we stop. If its not illegal and its not known outside of the Indian/first nation community than giddy up. Its not like they shot it on reserve land. Somebody shot an albino mallard near here last week and that was ok w/ the local tribes from what I see

Ontario Tiger I believe it would be in your best interest to let the albino creatures that mother earth has given us live. I know that it will not bode well with the spirits if you go out of your way to kill these animals. It's forbidden in Arizona.

lol i think this dude is lost.

say what you will, but albino animals are a genetic anomaly but otherwise have no particular significance. on indian land, yeah i can see why you would stay away from killing albino animals. otherwise though, i would have no issue with it as they are no different from the other animals besides being a genetic aberration. do the indians own all albino animals or something?

That is going to make an awesome mount. Of course if Karma is a thing and this spirit animal crap is real, then this guy will probably be reincarnated as Michael Moore's thong.

Arizona - I've got room for albino creatures - right beside my mashed taters. If I letem walk its only due to poor marksmenship

A moose like this is pretty rare, no way I'd pull the trigger.
