Probably

That would be the smart thing to do at first. Do their best to stop the run, get pressure while bumping our WR's at the line.

If it works early..we could be in for a long day.

It wont be that simple. I think they mix it up with zone blitz and some confusion at the line of scrimmage.

Everyone we play will plan on stopping the run first with us. Nobody come out and play us nickel on first down.

Ole Miss will do the same, so will Furman, so will Bama, so will A&M and so will Arkansas.

yup. i expect to see them try to man our wr's and see if they can. this means they will crowd the line of scrimmage and this meets the definition of stacking the box. i doubt they'll put 8 and 9 guys on the run very much but since they will disguise their coverages they may do that, esp in obvious running situations. i really don't think their db's are better than tcu's were and i hope the refs call interference more than those guys did.

They are much, much faster than TCU's DBs. Maybe they won't be as successful as TCU was at the point of contact, but they will be able to make up ground for sure.

Let them try that. I was just looking at the UF schedule again and it is filled with 3-3 teams that do not have a lot of offensive firepower. On paper, this appears to be our game.

Hill is probably the worst RB in CFB to stack the box on. If he breaks through the first level, BYE! Go look at his long runs. Most (if not all) have come against a stacked box. He'll juke the LB, plow the safety, and then take it to the house. Hell of a risky move. . .and that's if Cam doesn't call for a passing play.

except florida' front 7 is better and lsu has a STRONG tendency to run to the left. muschamp may be a chump on offense but he's frickin' as good as it gets coaching D and i guarantee you he'll know our tendencies. i also believe Cam will recognize this and call plays to the right more. msu's DL argueably is as good as florida's so i hope hill breaks several.

It would probably be the smart move on UF's part. Especially if Jarvis is not 100% on Saturday.

That is what they are saying they are going to do, but then again, it wouldn't be the first time a coach might misdirect his opponent.

I hope they play man and try to jam the receivers. I would think Cam has enough knowledge to start putting guys in motion if this happens and it makes it alot harder to jam. UF has some excellent corners but if they play man there will be opportunites for some big plays.

For the most part. Your receivers, particularly Landry are very savvy operating versus zone.

You think well run to the left? Fine, well just pull plays with Collins on the right to open holes. Oh, well use counter plays as well. Oh shite. A play action deep middle pass to Richard Dickson. OMG a spider 2 y banana to neighbors or copeland.

Knowing Muschamp he won't. He trust the front seven to make the plays vs the run. Gorman or riggs may pull up on some plays anticipating run but i doubt It's a continued thing.
