they'd have been better off starting tabata in LF all series. i can't imagine being less competitive in the leadoff spot than what marte has done this series.

I didn't agree with taking Cole out and that just reaffirmed it. Could have bunted Barmes over and stayed in.

Cole needed to be taken out.

Cards were starting to line him up and he was falling 1-0 2-0 every count in 5th with heart of order up.

Don't really give a frick what the counts started out at. He was pitching great besides one mistake.

he was injured, then supplanted Snider in RF until the trade for Byrd. He played a lot of LF when Marte was out w/ the hand injury.

They eased Marte back in by starting Tabata then lifting him for Marte late defensively when he still couldn't swing a bat.
