It should be interesting but will be a logistical nightmare, most of the seats under the tracks current format would be total garbage

Neyland stadium holds 102,455 people and Lane Stadium holds 66,233 people.
It's hard to believe that they couldn't easily get 168,688 fans at the track based on what their own stadiums hold. The fans of both schools would be willing drive less than two hours away to see their teams play, no matter where the game is being played.

Do you think they'd drive 2 hours?

Can't believe they actually finally did this. I thought it would never happen because of that big video screen in the center of the field; maybe they can move it or are replacing it or something?

But to the naysayers in this thread, this has been a dream of both schools since at least 20 years ago, and Bristol is less than 2 hours from each school. They'll pack the place.

Are you saying that vt fans drive 5 hours for home games? Explain your 7 hours comment.

Bristol to Washington DC is only 5 1/2 hours.
That route takes you through all of northern Virginia

So if they drive 5 hours to home games every week, they sure as hell will drive an extra 2 hours to see them play tennessee at bristol. You're stupid and i will no longer reading your posts.

Roanoke and Radford are fairly close to Tech. I know both fan bases wanted this to happen.
