I didn't say he needed to be castrated. I said I'd like to see him castrated.
And his vague, bullshite history as a Redskins fan has been analyzed and laughed at for years because they're inauthentic.

Again, the definition of racist is the belief that people of a race are inferior to others because of their race. Naming your organization the Redskins says, if anything, that you believe the Redskins are SUPERIOR not inferior. Why would you name your sports team after something you believe to be inferior? That doesn't make any sense.
The logic just fails when anyone tries to insinuate that the Washington franchise naming their team the Redskins is racist.

Drew Magary has been pounding this story to death and he needs to shut the frick up about it. Deadspin is a great website. I hate ESPN, so I go to Deadspin to enjoy sports articles. I don't go there to have the same goddamn horse beat over and over again just because some sports guy is in the minority opinion of a battle that has already been won...The name will not change. Nor will or should any other team with names that have the potential to offend someone

I'm sorry you don't like the most well-known journalist from a website you enjoy and find "great," but that doesn't make his post today any less accurate.

The whole point is that you don't use those words because they aren't acceptable terms to describe people. Thus, you don't use those words as a team name.

Hate Dan Snyder and I hate the Redskins but he nailed it right on there. Redskins shouldn't change their name it would be a damn shame if a few butt hurt individuals had to ruin it for everyone else.
