Obviously I wouldn't take him over Brees but there are other factors that go into making a great QB such as coaching. How much would Romo improve with Payton working with him?

Why don't you just worry about having a Qb that don't choke games and rape women

This all stems from him botching that hold on the extra point in the playoff game a while back. He's been labeled a choker ever since.

That, and the Vikings playoff game didn't help.

Put the team on his back in SB XL with this stat line

9-of-21 for 123 yards and two interceptions

Funny, two of Romo's worst choke jobs (muffed FG hold, losing to the Giants at home in the playoffs) happened during his first and second years playing. No one ever points that out for some reason...

Aside from Peyton Manning, Tony Romo has peformed better than any other quarterback in the NFL this year (this is for guys that have started more than one single game).

True story.

Like this gem in SB XLV

25/40 for 263 yds 2 tds 2 ints for a rating of 77.4

One int was a pick 6 and the other was late in the 4th qtr

Pretty decent stats when you take into account his nightmarish start in the first quarter.

But he wasn't very clutch.

Are you a cowboys fan? Any time there's a thread about Antonio Romo you always feel the need to post in it

I love Tony Romo threads. He is a pretty decent QB. Just doesn't FINISH the Job at times, when it matters most. IMO the ONLY vindication he will ever get is to come up CLUTCH in a SB win. Now IF he can only get there.

I'm a 49ers fan. Naturally I hate the Cowboys. But I want them to be competitive again because those were some awesome games in the 90s. Romo just can't make it happen.
