He didn't really shite the bed in any of the games you listed.
He wasn't even supposed to play the Giants in 2011. Broken thumb and ribs.
A starting QB shouldn't have been holding a FG after leading his team to FG position in the final seconds might I add, vs Seattle.
You obviously disregarded everything I said about the Giants in 07.
And huge lol at shitting the bed vs the Vikings. And do I have to remind you what the Redskins did to the Saints last year. We weren't really a playoff team, about as much as the Saints were.
You've already made clear a few times in this thread that you don't pay much attention to detail. Putting all of those games on Romo is hilarious. Romo has never really had a David Tyree to make a miraculous play and save him. He's been blessed with the likes of Patrick Crayton, to set him up for failure in tight situations. If anything, Romo isn't lucky, I'll give you that.

I can agree with what you said.
Same thing with Peyton Manning and John Elway. It will be amazing what a ring would do to justify Romo's career. It's just a shame that this had to be the end all measurement in the most ultimate of team sports, for some people.
I've seen Romo perform 4 miracles in a game, but he strikes out on the 5th one and is forever condemned for it. This sums up his career so far for me. When you fail at being asked to do very little, that's choking. When you fail trying to do the impossible, it's something different.

Are we looking at the same game? I'm looking at 3 Romo turnovers and 3 points scored on offense.

Doesn't matter. He was supposed to hold the snap as he had done the entire season (IIRC) but dropped the snap to lose the game.

What? That the Giants went on to beat the undefeated Patriots? What does that have to do with Romo? He had a 50% completion percentage. 200 yds. 1 TD, 1 INT. He didn't play well.

Win that game and you're in the playoffs. 3 picks.
I'm not arguing that he's not a good QB. I would love to have him if we didn't have Brees or the other top guys. But this thread is about Romo being clutch. I'm not seeing it.

Ok so if you're just gonna discredit his comebacks due to timing, then do the same with his choke jobs. Week 5 late INT doesn't count. Wasn't December.
It was against a playoff team--not pre-RGIII Washington.

Conveniently leaving the part out where he was sacked 6 times and running for his life the entire day. I watched every minute of that game and never once thought we got our arse kicked because our QB is playing terrible.

at he didn't play well. There were 3 horrible drops late in that game. 1 in the endzone. Another on a big 3rd down. Hence why I said the difference in him and Eli that season was receivers stepping up HUGE for one, and receivers doing the exact opposite for the other. Romo played very well vs that Giants defense.
