I read some article that said Gamestop was SUPPOSEDLY getting some December 15th, but I have no idea how legit that is.

If you absolutely don't feel comfortable using the gamepad, buy a pro controller. I have one and it works great.

So, how's everyone liking it so far? I'm definitely enjoying it, and while I still think the roster is good, I think this would have more been my dream roster here. It's designed an 8 by 8 grid, to where the character select would be on either side of the screen (players 1 and 2 on the left, 3 and 4 on the right, and in 8 Player Smash it'd be players 1-4 on the left and 5-8 on the right), and they're also organized by genres. The asterisk indicates that they're unlockable.

My only complaint is still the Stages, and the amount that have dropping floors. It's kind of insane and I hate them. And good stages like Yoshi's Wooly World. Nice looking stage, great music, but hate to play it because of the floor.

Yeah, same here. I really wish they'd focus on giving us just simple stages instead of elaborate ones. Why not give us 100 stages? Simple stages can't take all that long to create, but instead we get shite like the Great Cave Offensive that I can't imagine anyone ever wanting to play on (Hyrule is as big as a stage should ever be, and that's perfect for 8 Player Smash). If he can create Subspace in the last one, he could give us a few extra simple stages.

I highly doubt we get Banjo. I don't think really any gaming company would refuse having their character on Smash Bros these days, since really Smash Bros is probably the single best advertising one can do. Of course he wants Banjo in Smash. I think even Master Chief could get in these days.

How the hell did Cloud make it into this game? I never even considered that Nintendo would even consider him. Thought for sure Simon Belmont, Snake, Bomberman, and Rayman would be in long before him.

This is crap. That stuff is old news, Nintendo doesn't have any sort of relationship with Rare anymore. Yes the games were awesome....20 years ago. They actually haven't really held up. I don't detest the character, but would have much preferred either 1) A 3rd party character who actually meant something to early Nintendo - A Simon Belmont or Arthur or Strider - 2) A 3rd party character from a company that still has a relationship with Nintendo - Rydia or Terra, Jill Valentine, Phoenix Wright - 3) Something totally off the wall - a Marvel character, Lego something, etc.

Banjo sucks for Smash. Simple as that.
