How far north to fish Cocodrie this weekend?

What would you do?
Im most familiar with a few areas just south of Coco (Moss Bay, Bayou Touch Me Not, 4 Points), but willing to learn places further north if that's a better plan.
Will be down there Fri-Sunday
Any thoughts?

I fished for reds just north of Lake Boudreaux yesterday. morning. Water was nice for how windy it had been. I still only saw 4 fish and missed them. But that has more to do with me being a bad fisherman than whether r not it's a good place to fish

I don't even know how to get in there. Anyone catch anything anywhere lower than that? Also, going make a bowfish trip Saturday night. It's been a month since I've been to my second home.

You're not missing much. No fish live there.

From where we stay I wouldn't even have to get on plane to be in Boudreaux.

You must not know the area. There are some lakes and bays between cocc and the GOM.

Mechant and sister are giving up some fish

They had the floodgates closed all weekend so I didn't have many options on where I could go to fish. Started heading west to Decade, but they were having a problem with the pontoon bridge so I had to turn around. Caught a few under the lights by the old SC marina while I witnessed a few older folks catching 60+ a few docks down (their light was rrreally bright)

God I miss our camp there. Stupid easy fall fishing. We were three camps from Mud Lake Pass.
