Seems to be doing one of his better coaching jobs so far. Also seems to have mellowed quite a bit.

He;s overachieved every single year he has been with the Jets. This is par for the course.

I think he's good for now but there's a lot of season left and if they hit a losing streak I could see him on the hot seat again

No Sanchize will make any coach look better.

Rex is and has always been a great defensive coach. He was just dumb to bet his career on Mark Sanchez for so long.

I think this same thread was started last night. Like word for word the same.
Or I'm seeing things again.

He didn't give Sanchez that contract.
The guy who did is currently unemployed

He bought himself a few weeks.

He lost his swagger with his weight. Rob Ryan has all that swagger still if you can't tell

I think he's safe. They're rebuilding a pretty good defense and now they have a legitimate QB that has potential to be more than a manager.
if they end 8-8, I think he'll be back.

Rob has some extra swagger for sure.

I'm going to show up at Ms Mae's after a home game soon and ask him if he would chest/stomach bump me. Would be the greatest gift ever.

Could not agree more.

They have a legit defense and the offense is improving. The Jets are not loaded on offense, but Geno looks to be an improvement over head band. Rex has shut his mouth this year.
I think 7-9 would be a good year for this team, and Rex would be back.

Rex was dialing up those exotic blitzes all night. Muhammad Wilkerson is legit on that D line. I have never been a Rex fan, but he's got that otherwise shite roster playing hard.

Sounds like something Jon Gruden would say/said last night.
And the phrase "dialing up" has worn out its welcome among broadcasters. I wish it would go away.
