There are only a few possible teams that would get in with undefeated records

Oregon
Stanford
Ohio State
Clemson
Florida State
Oklahoma
UCLA
Baylor
Louisville

Outside of any pairing involving Ohio State and Louisville who will get penalized for their SOS, do we get with any two of these teams still undefeated by season's end?

Ohio State and Louisville are locks. Then there is Oregon/Stanford or Florida State/Clemson. Except 4 undefeated teams, and that is if we are able to beat Bama. If not then it could be 5.

It's really more like:

Oregon/Stanford/UCLA
FSU/Clemson
Ohio State
Baylor/OU
L'Ville

LSU will be ahead of the loser of all of those other matchups. Need the winner of 4 of those to knock each other out. I think the Pac is really good and will take care of their champion.

FSU has to play UF so I say root for them against Clemson.

The Big XII has been cannibalizing itself for years.

*There will not be 5 undefeated teams, and none of these teams are locks. How many years of CFB have you people watched? It's said every single October, and by the second week of November the discussion becomes whether or not there will even be 1.

UCLA, Oregon and Stanford all play each other. Only possible to have 1 team stay undefeated if that.

Clemson and Florida State play each other.

I expect Big Game Bob to choke at some point.

A 1 loss SEC Champ will jump Baylor and Louisville.

Expect to see Ohio State in BCS Ship unless an upset at Michigan.

Provided A&M, Bama and UGA win out until our games, we will beat 3 top 6 teams in the last 4 games we play (#1 ranked team away and Top 5 at a neutral site). I think that, combined with avenging our only road loss by 3 points will be enough to sneak in.

Louisville will have a very tough time getting in IMO. Schedule is just awful.

Oregon, UCLA and Stanford play each other. 2 get eliminated from title contention. Hopefully they all go 1-1 and all 3 get eliminated.

Clemson-FSU play. 1 gets eliminated.

Baylor plays OU. 1 gets eliminated.

Louisville will likely go undefeated, but their strength of schedule is going to shaft them.

Ohio State only plays Michigan from here on out. Probably goes undefeated.

Right now I bet Ohio State- Oregon plays for the title and Oregon wins 51-27.

Gonna need a lot of help but that is where the system is flawed.....already played 3 ranked teams and possibly can still play possibly 4 ranked teams and still out beat by osu who has played 2 ranked teams all year....along with Louisville.

It's really pretty simple...

If LSU wins out, they are first in line of the 1-loss teams.

If there are at least 2 undefeated teams out of the Pac-12, Big-10, Big-12, or ACC, than LSU is SOL. Won't matter how many ranked teams they beat. Unfortunately, that's just the way it works.

The only interesting scenario I can fathom is there being one undefeated team out of the Pac-12, Big-10, Big-12, ACC and an undefeated Louisville.

I think a one loss SEC champ will absolutely get in over Louisville....possibly Ohio State but that really depends on how they look doing it. You have to pray the winner of Oregon/Stanford and Clemson/Florida St loses another game.

LSU isn't going to finish the season with only one loss anyhow, so you stop with the unrealistic expectations. Just enjoy the season for what it is.

The undefeated winners of these games would get in over a 1-loss team.
I agree. The SEC will end its run this year because of the pitiful competition of these teams.

Know how I know you only watch SEC football?

If a PAC team goes undefeated that will be a huge accomplishment. Washington/Stanford/Oregon/UCLA are all legit, and ASU and a few others don't suck and are equal to at least an Ole Miss type win.

And if Clemson or FSU are undefeated they will have beaten the other, and a top flight SEC school (2 in the case of Clemson).

All four of those schools probably have tougher schedules this year than Bama and aTm.

our chances are pretty slim

Oregon will run the table with ease
Louisville will definitely not lose
the winner of Clemson and fsu will be undefeated
the winner of Baylor and Oklahoma MIGHT be undefeated
and then theres ohio st. who has somewhat of a chance to win out.

The completely nauseating question is, "What would Condoleezza Rice do?".

End of the year there will be only 2 undefeated teams. Percentages of 3 are low and 4 going undefeated is rare. If LSU runs the table and wins the SEC Championship it would be very hard for voters to snub them and the computers would place them #2 over a soft scheduled undefeated. Ohio State might get bumped especially if they are not impressive over unranked opponents late in the year.

If 3 teams are undefeated then we may be Sugar Bowl bound.

Turning away a 1 loss SEC Champ Bama, Georgia, A&M or LSU, provided the only loss is to one of the others, would be a huge credibility hit to the BCS system regardless of whether any of the other contenders is undefeated, and would underscore the appropriateness of its imminent demise.

My hope is that it does not happen and give them a reason to say " See , that is why we have a playoff next year so this does not happen again."

Neither Ohio St or Louisville will get in.

The Pac 12 champ, only if undefeated, gets in.

The ACC champ, only if undefeated, gets in.

If LSU goes undefeated (meaning they beat @Bama, Fla, A&M, and either Ga, SCar, or Fla again) they would be in the #3 slot behind undefeated PAC and undefeated ACC, and ahead of undefeated Ohio St and undefeated Lville.

I either ACC or PAC fails to produce an undefeated, and LSU wins out, LSU is in.

But if Baylor scores 70+ on every team they face (including OU, Okla St, Texas, and TCU), it will be hard to keep them out. Don't laugh, this could happen. They've been taking their foot off the gas in the SECOND quarter, or they'd be putting up 100 points per game.
