If the rest of the division keeps sucking and we keep winning?

Hard to tell. There's alot of football left to play and 4 of our last 6 games are divisional.
Plus i dont do math.

Off hand, I am thinking if the Saints are 10-0 after 1st 10 games, they clinch division if other teams continue down their same path

Probably at week 12. But we will know its a certainty a long before.

8 more wins should guarantee the division.

I think 9 wins would guarantee the division. 13-3 for home field.

im tired of hearing about clinching the division and playoff spot. We need that homefield!!

having done the math... officially... week 10 vs. Dallas
that would make us 9-0... Panthers & Falcons 1-8... Bucs 0-9
Saints would be division champs

This site won't give you exactly the answer youre looking for, but its pretty cool. Especially as the season moves on.

The division is definitely ours to lose now, but won't clinch for awhile

Screw clinching. I want 16-0, ensuring home field through playoffs.
seattle has the potential to finish out 15-1. They're pretty hard to beat at home, but their away games aren't too difficult. I only see legitimately san fran beating them assuming ATL reels the rest of the way.

We're probably gonna find ourselves rooting for the Falcons when that game rolls around

But think about what a wonderful position that would be - if they win they feel bad knowing they helped us. If they lose they can't take any pleasure in the fact they hurt us because they realize how low they've sunk. All right, I'm done being petty.

I don't think they'll actually finish 15-1, but in honesty they have the potential to do it. They've had a lot of luck in their away games so far. If that luck continues, I can definitely see it happen.
