Where do y'all get yours? I feel like there must be a place that has cheap refills. Tired of paying $10 every 4 hours of use.

I haven't found them cheap anywhere.

If you're spending $10 every 4 hours you're doing it wrong though. I get alot more distance than that outta mine.

Check out YouTube. There are instructions for refilling. I haven't tried it but have read it works. There are also instructions for reactivating the pads so they can be reused as well

Tell me about these thermacells. I live on the bayou and have to deal with plenty of Mosquitos. No big deal for me but I need to do something since it's getting dark earlier and my 1yo loves being outside. I'd like to get one of the patio setups that protects 15'x15'.

How well do these work? What would it cost to run one an hour in the afternoon a few times a week?

Cheap refills cartridges were available when it first came out. Some sort of curling iron used the same refill and could be had for cheap at Wal Mart.

They figured that one out pretty quick.

thermacell is the best outdoorsman invention ever. when we hunt the marsh there will be a swarm of mosquitoes just outside of our thermacell bubble. I dont get bit at all anymore.
