The San Francisco Chronicle Horrifies their readers by telling the truth

LINK Dumb asses thought Obamacare meant FREE healthcare and nothing I could say would change their mind. The name "Obama" attached to the word "Care" just meant good or free or Unicorn or Velvety Marshmallow Cloud Of Love and Understanding That Emanates from Our Good and Wise Historic First Black President.

quote:

"Every plan is going to cost more than what I pay now. And what I pay now is ridiculous," said Ross, 47, who owns a cat-sitting business called Tales of the Kitty and pays more than $400 a month for her insurance. "It's a great thing for some people, but it's certainly not helping me." Ross is among the millions of Americans who buy coverage on their own, but must find new coverage because the health law has rendered their current policies outdated. But Ross, like many others, is not finding the plans sold through the Affordable Care Act to be particularly affordable.

Well no- shite you dumb-ass. That's what we've been telling you, but between all your screaming about us being "racist, tea-party, homophobic, capitalist pigs" you probably didn't hear us. Prepare thy anus, Low Information Cat-Walker Lady. Obama has something for you.

FORWARD, BITCHES !!!

Do you think the democrats will ever acknowledge they wrote the bill for the insurance companies and big businesses that want to dump their groups on the government??

But only the wealthy will pay more, right?

I never knew cat sitting was such a lucrative industry.

Talk about an easy job.

it's a lot easier to phrase it in terms of progress than actually label it correctly

I don't ever claim to know it all, but experience in life has thought me this. When people feel they can't win an argument on merit alone, some will turn to name calling or insults. Just like some in a relationship or a friendship disagreement. The person who starts losing an argument will say hurtful things to the opposite party. It's sorta a natural defense for some, but that doesn't make it right. With this whole Obamacare debate, there's one party that attacks the messenger much more than the other. Just stinks these actions are more intentional from some of our leaders in Washington.

If anyone is truely honest with themselves, it easy to figure out which party is doing this cheap tactic.

Not necessarily true... Half the time I just get fed up with reiterating the same point over and over again that I call them like they are

Who cares about pejoratives. This is the comment I remember:

"If you're one of the more than 250 million Americans who already have health insurance, you will keep your health insurance," "This law will only make it MORE SECURE AND AFFORDABLE."-The Grifter-In-Chief

LIke your doctor, keep it

Because Truth does not matter to them. Arguing honestly does not matter to them. Cost does not matter to them. Quality health care does not matter to them. Helping people does not matter to them. What matters to them is POWER and shifting Healthcare from the hands of Individuals to complete State control. The end game is Universal care-everything else is irrelevant to them.

Anyone who thinks this is anything other than an attempt to go down the road to a one-payer gov't run system is fooling themselves. Fedgov running the whole system is the libs wet dream and this is just the first step.

I think the truth is they will blame the insurance companies for the higher rates strengthening their push for single payer aka completely government controlled healthcare. The insurance companies have no choice but to increase rates across the board since they now must insure pre-existing conditions. An intelligent bill should have addressed only the uninsured and pre-existing conditions without affecting the vast majority of insured happy with their plans. If they had addressed insuring across state lines and tort reform, rates might have actually decreased on the majority.

This would have sufficed. Medicaid could have handled the rest. It still would have sucked but it would not have been the greatest clusterfrick ever.
