I hate dipshit responses like this and yeah I don't care how many pictures of forks you post here. It's still an assh$le response.

Meridian is just trolling, he has a killer pulled pork crockpot recipe. Just too modest to share it.

I probably gave him fifty recipes from good posters.
What is wrong with that. Whenever I want something from here, that is the first thing I do. By the time he gets responses from you or others, he can look up fifty good recipes.
so what is wrong with what I gave him?

I posted this in another thread
TheIndulger's Trailer Park Stew
In a 4-6 quart crockpot, place 6 ham and cheese hotpockets on the bottom of pot
Cover with water or chicken broth. Salt, pepper and ketchup to taste.
Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.

Amazingly, ribs can turn out well from a crock pot. Slice into 4-rib portions and season with your favorite rub (preferably overnight). Place in crock pot and cook low for up to around 6-8 hours. If you can, finish under a broiler with some bbq sauce if you choose.
I was very skeptical of the above recipe because I always thought that everything cooked in a crock pot needed to be covered in liquid, which isn't always the case. There is absolutely no liquid added to this recipe, and although not off the grill, you can still enjoy ribs year round.
...and yes, google crock pot recipes for a plethora of information.

You can get a plethora of information from google but the point of this thread, like many others, is to obtain information without having to go through 98% of crap from google searches.

It is also a way to get responses and recipes from people on the board who have firsthand experience with particular recipes and can discuss them.

The link takes you to lots of other tigerdroppings threads with crock pot recipes. What's dipshit about that?

My wife made a new one last week that was really good.
1lb boneless chicken breasts
1/2 lb bacon
2 cans garlic cream of mushroom
1 cup sour cream
Break the chicken down into chunks with a spatula.
Serve over rice.

What the hell is this board for if not to provide fellow Food Boarders with our own personal insights and experiences?
Sometimes the OP is looking for a conversation just as much as recipes.

Sure are a lot of recipes and discussion in this thread. I'd go to the other threads for that and then ask questions about those recipes if need be. I usually provide links to other threads if I know we've had some, but that's probably dipshit, too, so I guess I'll stop.
OP, I made a Pioneer Woman recipe for drip roast and instead of baking it last time, I made it in the crock pot and got great results with the juices. Google Pioneer Woman drip beef. There are several. I made the one with the peppers, no tomatoes. Can't get to it right now, but you can also find a thread on the recipe by googling it through Tigerdroppings search option.

I cooked a pork shoulder in the crick pot last night. It's cooling to take off the grease. Will let you know later or tomorrow how it turned out. Eating elsewhere tonight.
