Just checked the forecast and it looks like a real wet weekend in Chi town with a band of severe storms making their way thru the area too.
Gonna make for a muddy field and conditions not best suited to the Saints and our game. Hope the weather channel has it wrong.

It's a misnomer that rain is kryptonite to all passing attacks. Short precision routes will kill.

Forte and Sproles should rock.

Do yall remember that Buccs game early in Paytons tenure when it was raining and Deuce was still on the team and CSP called something like 40 passing plays in the wind and rain and slop and the camera kept panning over to the sidelines and showing Deuce withhis hhelmet on and ready to go in and he didn't get a single snap. That was so depressing.

Let's hope Payton had learned his lesson.

Over under on Brees's attempts: 28

I'ma say over

From weather.com

quote:

A shower or two around the area in the morning, then partly cloudy in the afternoon. High near 65F. Winds SW at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 30%.

So it doesn't look like it'll be raining during the game. The field might be wet though.

The most depressing one for me was the NFCCG. Deuce just had his best game as a pro vs. Philly and then they went to Chicago in the wind and the snow and the crap and they threw the ball 50 times and lost.

THAT is the game I hope he learned the lesson from.

But hopefully the O-Line will do a better job blockingthis week.

They'll attempt to run it and after the 2nd failed 3rd and inches attempt they'll go back to the passing game with those short dump offs to Sproles and Graham. Hopefull K-Rob is a surprise game changer!
