Can we all agree now that Mett should have started from day 1 in 2011?

Go ahead and tell me how JL/JJ gave us the best chance to win.

I understood the decision to go this route but I never agreed with it.

Just imagine Mett with another year of SEC experience.

But if he had the year last year that he is having this year he might be in the pros now and we'd be breaking in a true freshman QB.

I agree with you but it could have gone the opposite way too.

He have just as easily could have started from day one and succumbed to the pressure

I like Mett and he has done a good job but its Cam that has the offense turned around.

Jarrett Lee should have started in 2009.
And 2010.

he still would of had no coaching tho. if cam came in for the 2011 team i believe we beat bama by 20 in the national championship.

I remember Cam being talked about before we hired Kragthorpe...I wonder how close it was to happening.

I agree with you, but, the real improvement came from Cam Cameron and his play calling more than Mett. Mett has been coached and vastly improved only this year.

Given we had no decent OC, Mett probably would have had a career ending injury or concussions and not even be playing today had he started in 2011. I like him the way he is in 2013.

2012 #80 47.1 QBR (JFF as #1 had a 90.5 as reference)
2013 #04 90.9 QBR

Without Cameron I don't know if it would have mattered.

Take your logic elsewhere.

Our offense was a full blown four alarm dumpster fire the last 4 years. What CC has done in less than a year is incredible.

No. He wasn't particularly great last year after having a year to learn the system. We had championship hopes in 2011 and Jarrett Lee stepped in, played well enough to keep those hopes alive.
