Went to Beausoleil last time by the FB rec and we enjoyed it. Food was good and services was excellent. What are some other places that might be similar that yall like? Im more looking for really good food and less worried about it being high end or whatever.

Juban's and Mansur's are my go-to places for special occasions.

Course I did. It's the only nicer restaurant I've been to in BR that was any good. Just go there again or somewhere like Chelsea's

Stroube's and Juban's both suck.

I hear good things about Mansur's. Guess he could go there. Or the new Galatoire's.

I need to find someone I can take on a nice date in BR.

Or I can just keep blowing my money on myself while I'm single.

ETA: Sorry for not contributing anything to this thread

Ruffinos is a great Friday night date place. Have some drinks at the bar while waiting for a table

She has been wanting to go since she is from Nola and wondered how it compared to the other one.

I've only been to Bistro Byron's in Lafayette while it was here.
I loved their drinks and thought the food was excellent. I wish they would have been in a better location so it could have made it.

Avoid the new Galatoire's. it is ridiculously expensive for average food. Their turtle soup is great, but i found beausoleil's turtle soup to be just as good.

The food at G's wasn't terrible, but it was not great. My advice would be to avoid it.

Go to Roberto's LINK

Fantastic place.
