Anyone know where I can get a detailed map of the national forest? I know there is private land within the forest, but have yet to find a map highlighting these areas. I'm hunting near gloster Mississippi

I believe the office is in Meadville. Where is Gloster are you hunting? Was in a club for 15 years until we gave the lease up last year.

My buddy has some private land near Mullins and east homochitto road. His tract isn't too big, but I have rights to his camp so I was looking for the forest boundary near there

My place is within Desoto NF and I got a topo map for my quad. It shows private lands in a grayish green with the rest of the forest light green. The office in Meadville will have them for your area. They are a great map for about $10.

My camp is in Meadville and borders the NF.

It is pretty obvious when you leave the NF and venture on our land (clear cutting, roads, random assorted of trees as opposed to all Pines).

Some people never learn though, but hey, thanks for the free leaning stand.
