Every October I brace myself for the flurry of ignorant posters who are some reason intimidated that the color pink is introduced into football for 31 days.

Hm, I feel the pink flags are a nice touch. Oh well.

So if some disagrees with your view of pink flags they are ignortant? Got it.

ETA: As long as they are supporting the cause monetarily, that's all I need. Green helps more than pink.

I, too, think this is overdoing it. What does it say about the breast cancer awareness movement that it's not satisfied with being part of the uniforms themselves? Seriously? You want MORE??

I mean, we fricking GET IT. Pink = Breast Cancer.

My issue isn't with the color pink. My issue is that it is intrusive to the game. There are other worthy charities that deserve as much support as the Susan G. Komen Foundation and they don't ask to alter uniforms, game fields and officials' equipment.

Agree with you. The answer though is eyes on the television. Woman sees pink, says, "Pink? Neat! I'll check this out." Money.

Agreed. I don't mind the pink on everything else, but the flags and players towels are same color. Already thought a towel that fell off player was a flag.

My issue is they don't give a frick about cancer. They care about marketing to women.

If they cared about disease, they'd let people wear colors corresponding to the charity of their choice.

But if you do that, THEY WILL FINE YOU.

It's just distracting and now I can't tell when a flag is thrown because it blends in with all the other pink on the screen

This is how I feel. It's all disingenuous bullshite. I also question how good a charity Susan G Komen For the Cure actually is. I guess I don't know enough about such things though.

Nah, if you don't like the pink covering the field, you have to be ignorant.
