I've actively been avoiding the Breaking Bad threads on the M/TV board because I'm not done with the show. There's a thread that's got what I'm assuming is a major spoiler in the title. Needs to be removed. The show hasn't even been over for a week.

Chicken and all the admins are great.

Eta: it appears it's been removed. Thanks fellas.

Why was it removed? It's not really a spoiler since the show was already aired, right? And it aired four days ago. That just doesn't seem to make much sense.

Well, what is the length of time we are supposed to wait to mention something about a show that has already aired in a thread title? What if I ask, in a thread title, what the Seinfeld cast did while in jail for a year?

The age old question. Spoilers are info about something that hasn't been aired yet.

That being said, it would be common courtesy to use discretion for a bit with revealing info even after it has aired.

How long does the courtesy need to be extended? I would think a year would be enough.

On the Movie/TV board you need to wait like multiple years. Use common sense as well, BB is a plot and character driven show, revealing Spoilers hurts the viewers experience. Seinfeld is a SIt-Com

If you didn't know that "spoiler" from the beginning of the show, you won't appreciate BB or anything where any sort of common sense is required. The title also didn't say if the thing even happened. It was about as much of a spoiler as saying Walt makes meth.

That's a bunch of crap dude. There's a difference between "knowing" something is going to happen in a show and actually, literally knowing it

Dont be a douche. We know Walt has cancer. He's going to die eventually. But, I'm sure there is some sort of drama involved in the finale that will be less dramatic knowing this tidbit.

Four days, people. Its not that hard to put **Spoiler Alert** in the thread title, and definitely not hard to not put major plot details in it.

Did the title give away any of that drama? No.

No it's not. Now if the title said how or when, then I'd agree.

Breaking Bad is a rare case where viewship will actually increase over the next year. Just look at the TV ratings for this season (compared to last) as evidence. I love the show myself and I wouldn't want it ruined for anyone.

(Spoilers in this post)

No I really want to know

It makes a difference on whether it was like "Walt dies" or "Walt takes out the neo-nazis with a machine gun and poisons Lydia with the ricin". I think everyone kinda gets Walt is going to die
