I have always like white In the spread weather jacks, cans, or weidgeon white helps them be seen. Who cares what species. We even use some drake spooners we bought cheap one year.

I think they came out pretty darn good!

that is a very good tip...I always touch up any white on my decoys during the off season, just to freshen them up after sitting out all winter...makes a hell of a difference in the way they look....
