I have tickets to the LSU- A&M game but I just received an invite to a good friend's wedding the night before in Conroe, TX.

I live in The Woodlands so the options are to either skip the wedding and go that night or go to the wedding and wake up early to drive to BR but probably miss amazing tailgating and hassling Aggies.

Any inkling the game might be a night game?

FWIW : friend is a graduate of Univ. of Texas.

A gift card for the couple.

FWIW: I live in Cypress and make many games on the morning of the game. It's hard, but it can be done.

Exactly.

I have two friends getting married in November. They planned it on a bye week.

CBS afternoon IMO.

"Sorry I can't make it, I've already agreed to another event. I will be out of town that weekend. I wish I had known sooner. Maybe we can get together for dinner one night after the honeymoon?"

virtually no chance. I can't tell you what to do, but I'd be hard pressed to miss the game.

This is only slightly better than getting married on an LSU Saturday. People would still rather watch football even if LSU isn't playing.
