Obviously, his resume is phenomenal," Mettenberger said of Cameron, "so it's hard not to buy into what he preaches. It has been an easy transition to listen to him and learn from him and try to be everything I want to be as a quarterback."
quote:

"He's just 22 years old, and he's only three-fourths of the way where he's going to be someday," Cameron said. "He's still just now scratching the surface of how good he can be, so I'm going to keep pushing him and he's going to keep pushing himself."

I am going to be sad to see Zach go. I am very happy with his production, and I don't see it doing anything but continuing to improve.

That being said, its pretty exciting to know that Jennnings will have from Janurary 2012 to August 2014 in this system and development before he takes the reigns.

I just hope they use him to throw as much as they're letting Met throw. I'm afraid he won't throw much.

Even if Cam Cameron leaves, he will leave an impression on Les. Coaches learn from each other and Les Miles sees how good the offense looks when we open it up. Also, the fact that Anthony Jennings and Hayden Rettig get to learn from Day 1 from Cam Cameron is just incredible. They will forever be better QBs because of it. We will be pretty set at QB for a few years.

Let’s just hope Cam stays for all 3 years of his contract, which I doubt at the rate our offense has improved.

According to the other thread we are #100 in the country in pass attempts per game. (obviously that is artificially lowered by running out the clock in the 4th quarters of our wins, but still). It's not how much we're throwing, it's how well we're throwing.

My favorite show back in the 70's! Those hidden videos of people doing ridiculous stuff were pretty funny...

Camerban has worked mostly with pro style drop back QB's in his career. All the obsessive/compulsive JennSwag jock sniffers might be in for a rude awakening if CCC turns Hayden Rettig into the next Mettenberger. Will be lots of crying in Wheaties if that happens.

Call me ignorant, but I honestly had no idea that Mack Brown coached at LSU.

this. we're actually throwing less passes/ gm than last yr (25.6 to 27.1), but doing it much more efficiently.

I've been caught so many times this year with my LSU gear on and watching porn.

What Cam and Zach put together for my eyes to see.....its just....its just beautiful. My virgin LSU spread offense eyes have waited so long for this...so long for this precision

The days of Marcus Randall....
A linebacker/safety in the NFL was our Quarterback

This has us in play for a big time QB first rounder next year. Alabama and Auburn in the mix too, but I like our odds.
