Title Company in Baton Rouge area.

Im buying a new house for $170ish and the title company is charging me 1,750 which seems like a rip off. Is this average or do you have any suggestions on who to work with?

who is the title company? it sounds like they have you paying both owner's and lenders title insurance. title insurace is the most expensive part.
