Going to be in Covington Saturday night with a group of guys. Looking for a place to watch the LSU game, with good food, and a decent beer selection.

I know there's a Chimes in Covington, but beyond that, any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Go to the Barley Oak in Mandeville. The weather should be nice. The bar proper is on the second story of the building it's in and the building is right on the lake. With the weather, there's a good chance they'll have the windows and doors facing the lake open, so you'll be there looking out over the water. They serve some really good beers and the sausage and cheese plates go well with the good beer.

I really like that place.

New place called Old Rail Brewery in Downtown Mandeville.

They are opening up a Mugshots Sports Bar & Grill in Covington...Not sure if it's open yet.

Besides that...Mellow Mushroom may not qualify as decent food, but has a really good beer selection and TV's.

Chimes is probably your best bet though.

Tap Room is a decent option. TVs aren't huge, but beer selection and atmosphere are solid.
