Answer these questions....
What home games has he attended this year? LSU
what college gear has he been seen wearing from time to time? LSU
what college gear has no one seen him wear? Bama
Don't know where he's going but signs are LSU just from these observations

I find that hard to believe...especially the way Cam Rob talked about trying to get him to Bama after he committed.

I'd much prefer the Diarse method if I were Hootie. Guys trying to get me to commit to a school they are going to would get old quick.

I'm at school everyday...he isn't saying anything not even to coaches
most around school think it's 60-40 LSU a few weeks ago...
Hootie going to LSU games over bama games is big IMO

CRob was probably doing that to troll the frick out of people.

Some of these recruits are big time recruiters for their schools (RS10, Brazil, Hardeman) and really try to help recruit but most of these kids, even current players at the colleges, just tell the kids to make the best decision for them. These kids get tired of every joe blow trying to convince them where to go.

Putting pressure on kids to commit somewhere could backfire and that is why you hear about most staffs not pressuring these big time guys to pull the trigger early.

I'm sure Diarse, Crob, and Sims have all told Hootie to do what is best for him but also let him know they want him at their school and they would be excited to have him join them.

This is what I told Diarse last year and Hootie this year...they both get tired of hearing where they need to go...I told john and hootie to do whats best for them and to go to the school that gives them the best chance at getting to the next level

You do realize that these writers slant their articles based on their agenda.... OMG Hootie is a Bama lean.... Guess what all of Alabama clicks and reads in delight and all of LSU clicks and reads in disgust.

Unless Hootie wrote the article himself, I dont think that you can really gain a lot of insight from the article.

This is laughable that we even have to worry about another 5 start going to bama instead of LSU. Especially since the players we put in the NFL at safety. I'm gonna end up getting banned before the season is over.

He talks about visiting Bama in the article.

quote:

Like LSU, Alabama has had "Hootie" on their campus plenty of times over the past 18 months.

Don't want to get in trouble, but he goes on to talk about relationships with current Bama players from Louisiana and the strength of the Bama defense.

that fact that he is still so undecided in October (he's a Dec Grad) does not fare well for LSU. A 5* safety that you really need for this class shouldnt be this undecided. Ron cooper would have had him hook line and sinker by now.

In that article didn't he say when he would likely decide?

If he wants to go to Bama and play special teams with Landon, best of luck to him. I refuse to stress out over these 17-18 year olds and their pre-signing day trolling. Ofcourse we want Hootie to be at LSU. There are other high quality athletes out there who want to be at LSU, should Hootie choose to go elsewhere. Les & staff have recruited extremely well over (9) years.
