Anyone catch that interview with Larry King (standing in for Olbermann)?
really cool, down to earth guy. i never had any feelings towards him before and it was the first time ive seen an extended interview with him

I love the guy. He can come off as a "bro" at times, a little douchey, but it's all in good fun. He seems like he's in it for the right reasons. He's definitely a Francona type of guy.

He is a good guy in my opinion. Went to see the Rangers/Yankees in Arlington with a big group a few years ago when he played for the Yanks. Some people in our group were Yankee fans and one of the mothers was asking him for baseballs for her kids when he was shagging flies during batting practice. He waved to her and I thought he was waving her off. I noticed he kept putting balls to the side rather than throw them back in. When he was done, he ran over and gave her the balls.
I have never been a Yankee fan, but I became a Nick Swisher fan after that.

Wasnt he voted one of the least liked mlber by other players within the last few years. He had more votes than arod if i remember correctly. Dude seems fake to me after having watched him play for the yankees.
