Well per Miles press lunch the personnel we have on D right now is what we are going to live with for the rest of the year. Youth/Experience are being blamed for the most part for the issues we have been having on defense. Looks like we are in for some more hand wringing during upcoming games. All I can say is I hope by the time we hit Nov. 9th that youth/experience has matured to grizzled veteran.

What changes do you want Miles to make? Unfortunately, I think our best players are getting playing time.

Were you really expecting them to fire Chavis? Please tell me that's not what you thought might happen.

Miles saying no changes will most likely mean many changes. He's been saying for weeks we will see Diarse. He's even referenced Beckwith seeing a lot of 1st and 2nd downs.

I would take his comments FWIW, nothing.

He is not going to open himself or the staff up to criticism. He never has, and he's not going to start now. There will be no official statements, you will see it on the field. There is no denying that we have players seeing significant time on defense that are not SEC ready and most likely will never be.

I don't see the staff investing much more time and effort there.

Honestly, the only major switch that makes sense now is to get Welter out of there and put in the young guys. Let them learn so that at least next year we aren't starting over yet again.

In the end, if we are just to accept mediocre play and confusion at least get the youth experience in preparation for next season, because Welter clearly hasn't earned his spot based on his performance or potential.

WTF? Do you think the season is over now? What the hell is this mentality?

Our fans now have a 14-0 or bust attitude and 1 loss means the season is over and we should prepare for next year? Jesus, you people suck. We still have an opportunity to win the West. It's not over yet. I'm looking forward to seeing some good football games. I hate our fanbase now.

3 point loss on the road in an SEC stadium to the best team I've seen this year = change everything.

What a depressing way to live that must be.

Dude, Welter is not an answer in the middle. There is ZERO chance Beckwith does worse in the middle. Welter is the worst player I've seen play on LSU's defense since the Dinardo days.

Kwon did the best but even he couldn't get off most of his blocks if you watched it again.

Well umm he's the middle linebacker

Welter is unblocked on half the plays. If you don't believe me, go back and watch. I've watched the UGA 3 times now. They literally leave him unblocked because he's no threat to them. It's actually obvious when you watch it how other teams key on him and use him against us. It's quite funny actually

did you miss the Hatcher at Mike experiment in 2011, or did you just close your eyes when he was out there? if it was the latter, I understand.

You really think Welter is better than Hatcher? Hatcher was terrible, I completely agree...but he was better than Welter. Hatcher at least was athletic and wasn't afraid to hit somebody (even though sometimes it was our own players).
