Probably safety. Tony brown will most likely be a corner and ed Paris might turn into a corner as well.

I think he ends up at Safety. I think S is gonna be by far our biggest need.

Ed Paris will play S or wait 2 years to play CB. We need safeties ASAP bc what we have isn't cutting it.

I hope Paris and Hootie are EE's along with Young or Garrett.

i think SS with Paris at FS..........voorhies is a guy that could also be in the rb mix for a year if we need another body. With the receiver class projected the way it is, i like him to stay on defense.

The other option would be FS voorhies and paris CB or both of them at free safety with Jefferson and Hootie at SS.

Cool. I was checking out our updated rivals page yesterday and was wondering about him. I don't think I've watched any of his highlight tapes so didn't have a clue about him.

From what I understand Jefferson is a FS all the way.

I wouldn't overlook Battle when predicting which 2014 DBs are gonna be starters down the road.

I really think Voorhies is an underrated player on a national level. Kid does it all for his high school.

quote:

IN FOCUS: Completed 6 of 12 passes for 171 yards and 2 TDs. Rushed 13 times for 84 yards, helping team to 24-0 halftime lead. BIG PICTURE: Has thrown for 679 yards on 38 of 70 passing, and carried 55 times for 517 yards and 3 TDs. Also has 7 tackles, five break-ups and returned interception for TD

All of that in just 2 or 3 weeks.

That said, I think hes a safety all the way. But, who knows? Everyone thought M. Jones was a MLB all the way, ends up at FB. But, i think his natural position is safety. And it wouldnt shock me if he got a lot of PT as a freshman. He will def be a special teamer, but I think he will get some legit PT on defense.

And in regards to Paris, pretty sure hes going to play CB. Paris has said hes a CB all the way. But, if he gets bigger a move to safety sounds like it could happen. He reminds me of Eric Berry actually. A big DB that can cover like a CB and is great in run support and hit likes a safety.

He is underrated because he committed early and is not attention seeking. just out there doing his job! He has put the recruiting madness behind him. Great kid with great parents

Wow having Paris Brown and Young and Clifton as EE would be amazing. That would provide immediate strength to the team for the start of next season. Those guys can flat out play and all look to be physically gifted enough to play this year in college if allowed to. I really hope we land Garrett my favorite player in this class! Voorhies is a play maker and I think we need that more at Safety next year then we need it at CB

I like battle. I see him as a free safety as well, which is why I'd like Paris at corner. I've seen them projected the other way around.

projected dbs from this class and last year:

Cb

Tre white
Rashard Robinson
Tony brown
Battle/Paris

Safeties

Jefferson
Voorhies
Battle/Paris
Hootie

There is no way in hell this guy ever plays a snap a rb, good try though. From his hs film hes not really developed at wr or s but with his ability to make players miss id have to say wr.

You can tell he has not been coached well watching him on d. Would definitely be a redshirt if he plays safty.

i don't think he will honestly play a snap at rb, but if there is a guy in this class that could add depth at multiple positions, it's him. If Magee and Brazil are our only returning rbs, it's possible. I think Hilliard stays so I don't see this happening anyway.

He will need to be coached up for sure, but this kid is a great athlete with good size and elite speed. We will need to add depth on defense so I think he ends up contributing mostly on the defensive side of the ball.
