Don’t give me that youth crap.

I'll say it. I believe that that the Freak is a bust (unless he is hurt). We have sub-par talent at the ends. And with that many LBs, you would think we could find someone who could take on a block. 31 wouldn't start at La tech. Mett is our only shot for wins. We can't stop the run. Period! We have to light it up on O every game. It's sad when you realize its talent and not coaching. If they were talented you could teach them. You can't fix getting own in the trenches. Long season but I still believe we can do it, it's just doesn’t look good.

The only thing this defense is missing is a leader.

There is no Eric Reid, Brandon Taylor, or Kelvin Shepperd out there lining guys up and keeping them focused.

We need our seniors to start being leaders on that defense.

This has nothing to do with getting stood up and sealed.

I would bring in Beckwith and Kwon and make the change now

If you don't think youth and inexperience make a huge difference, you don't have to look any further than LSU last year. Look at the inexperience on offense last year and look at how inconsistent a unit can be. Now look at the experience on the offense this year and look how consistent they are.

I am not saying it is everything, but it is a damn big part of why the defense has been so inconsistent.

I agree the talent just isn't there.....but I don't think Freak is a bust , he's doubled or tripled teamed on every play...as for Ego he just plain sucks, he's singled up all day and gets handled

coaching played a bigger part in the progression than merely a year of experience.

With Offense i can understand, it requires a little more exp. but getting owned at the point of contact for a junior on D is just...

The absence of a pass rush and the sluggish LB's are troubling, but let's not unfairly single out the front seven. The DBs were equally atrocious.

If it's a true talent deficiency, the program will stagnate for a couple of years. It could be a reflection of the mediocre 2012 class, when we missed out on an elite in-state LB and an elite in-state safety who might both dramatically help us at this juncture. But I'm hoping it isn't talent, just youth and poor execution. Time will tell.

plus on the d side you had an experienced well oiled machine in the Georgia offense going against a young defense....hell our o made their young d look bad....my take on it was they were not going to stop Georgia anyway but they took the wrong approach and scheme to try and slow them down.... in hind sight imo they should have stacked the box and try to get pressure on Murray any way they could....with a good qb not being touched hardly at all and our dbs having to cover that long it was a no win situation....people need to chill out our d will be fine....

The quality of play from the offense against Bama last year would suggest experience was a big part of it. The team got much better toward the end of the season. I disregard the Clemson game bc exhibition games are irrelevant. Some players care and some don't.

Here we go again!!! please make it stop.

This is 1000% just not accurate. Freak is rarely doubled. This is another classic example of someone with a false sense of reality. Let it go, open your eyes; Freak has underperformed, and it has nothing to do with double team.....wait and you mentioned triple team???

Freak is playing almost every snap a game and is doing so hurt. Look at the equipment on his arms. He looks like a bionic man with all those braces.

The talent is there. We have some of the best coaches in CFB let them do their thing. We replaced 5 starters and significant players on the DL a position notoriously difficult to pick up. If you expected us to be world killers by now you need to get some perspective

No doubt Cam Cameron has helped a big part along with Miles is letting the OC actually call the shots. But look at how our offense looked better and better as the season went on last year, Cameron was not here for the Bama game last year.

I think Freak is above average, but that is it. People are too quick to buy into the hype about him. I am mostly disappointed in Rasco. Of course I am not a fan of Curtis or Evangle players, because I think they are maxed out when you get them.

You can't blame Miles for past offenses then give Cameron 100% credit for the new offense. That's some blatant bias

SEC Network Highights

Only a small sampling of plays but it looks like he's doubled in everyone.

PS: if you want a bright spot note Stokes' block on Hilliard's TD - that's what I'm talking 'bout!

Wrong. I've rewatched the Auburn game and the UGA game and he was doubled more often than not.
