Perspective -- 22 losses in 8+ yrs

This weekend, LSU lost for just the 22nd time since Les Miles arrived before the 2005 season.
This is the 18th loss to a ranked team, including 12th to a top 10 team.
LSU has played 53 games against ranked teams out of 111.
LSU has a winning record in home, road and neutral games against ranked opponents, even against Top 10 teams.
The ONLY relevant category in which LSU has a losing record under Les Miles is in games against the University of Georgia. LSU is 2-3 against UGA since 2005.

2-5 and on a 3 game losing streak vs. quality competition is disappointing though.
Losing 3 straight has not happened since 2009. By "quality" I mean teams that finished the year ranked or are currently ranked.
