Puckheads, unite!

Puck drops tomorrow. Can Chicago repeat? Will the Penguins be healthy enough to dress 23 guys? Will the Flyers goalie suck? (Yes. Yes he will.) Will the Bruins miss Seguin and Horton? How much will the Red Wings enjoy the East? Can LA bounce back? How badly will Calgary suck? Will Edmonton finally turn the corner?

Will Don Cherry say something stupid and borderline racist? (Yes) Will it still be funny? (Yes)

Let's do this. Linked to the ESPN "expert" picks.

Oh frick yes.

Anyone know any good hockey bars in Chicago? I'll be there on Friday for Ohio State's game against Northwestern this weekend and don't want to miss out on the CBJ opener.

Not a huge hockey fan, well let me rephrase that...I love watching the playoffs but don't follow it all season cause I don't have a team to follow, so I don't know too much. Any value in those Stanley cup odds where I could throw $50 on someone and be able to root for them all year?

Tin Lizzy and Avenue Tavern are huge Red Wing bars when I lived there..but they had the package and would usually show anygame that you wanted

Probably the best value plays are the Rangers and the Caps. Unless you want to count the pretty attractive 12/1 both LA and Boston are getting.

We will miss his speed for sure. But I am ready for a Bergeron, Marchand, Eriksson line. Great two way line.

and Horton?

I think Iggy will put up comparable numbers

Hybrid icing approved for the regular season. I'm genuinely surprised.

I have a question:

I plan on watching a lot of Red Wings games this year since they are out of the west, and there won't be as many 9:30 starts. I don't want to go all out and get Center Ice, but is there a cheaper type of....like smart phone app, or computer streaming thing that I can get that streams and possibly archives (it doesn't necessarily have to archive) games? That's the kind of thing that I am interested in purchasing.
