Outside linebacker Barkevious Mingo made history when he registered a sack on Cincinnati quarterback Andy Dalton with 1:09 remaining in the first quarter of the Cleveland Browns’ 17-6 win.

By sacking Dalton, Mingo became the first NFL player since Oakland’s Tommie Kelly in 2004, and first Browns defender ever to register a sack in his first three games.

“It feels great,” Mingo said. “I’ve just got to keep it coming, keep making the plays I can make to help this team win. I’ve just got to keep it up and keep improving and let the rest take care of itself.

“On this one, he stepped up. (It was) vision of the quarterback and a want to get there.”

God, I hope rantards don't discover that he never had three games in a row at LSU with a sack.

Please tell me he had three games in a row with a sack at LSU

Mingos a beast and will be great in the NFL.

And, as typical on the Rant, people see his production in the NFL now and want to put the blame on someone as to why he didnt have that type of production for us.

Well, first of all, he was dbl teamed most pass plays when he was at LSU, and QBs knew to get rid of the ball, quick. In the pros, hes seeing all 1v1s and I dont know of many OT that are quick enough to block him, even in the NFL.

Also, hes playing his natural position in the NFL. 3-4 OLB. At LSU, he played a 4-3 DE. Thats the biggest reason with his lack of production at LSU. Nobodys fault. Not his fault/ Chavis fault. Its just the style of D we run.
