Hooters on College Dr has really gone downhill

Went last night for a few beers and some wings and really noticed that the place has gone downhill since the early 2000s. They renovated the place a few years ago and I do think that it was a big improvement. The little bar area and look of the place is much better.
Had the hot wings and I gotta say it was a chore chewing through the thick layer of better to get to the meat. The taste is good but damn there's way too much batter. The little boneless wings they serve are even worse because the pieces are much smaller. I think its hard to frick up wings but they do a good job at achieving crappy wings. Pluckers are way better.
Beer selection is obviously crappy. Had some PBR because I felt like it was trashy enough for the occasion and place. #3.50 for a 25oz beer isnt too bad. Im assuming these prices are to compete with Twin Peaks.
Theyve really dropped the ball with the waitresses since I was at LSU. There were two girls that were good looking and this was a Saturday night right after an LSU game. 10 years ago they would have 2 girls that werent good looking and everyone else was a girl you would say damn she looks good as she walks by. I think that maybe the selection of girls is limited because places like walkons, happys, and others are using the same model of hiring hot arse to serve drinks.
Lastly, god the customers in there were ghetto as hell. Yea I know its a fried chicken place blah blah blah. Being a waitress must suck there now. You dress like a whore and have to wait on people that wont tip you and walk out on the bill.

There's not even much left in there. I'll shoot pool at Clicks once in a blue moon but other than that I just pass up that section of town.

Last time I went there back in like 03 there was a nice collection of good-looking waitresses. Also they kept their beer pitchers cold by using a sealed bag of ice .. thought that was clever. Never liked their wings but their buffalo shrimp were pretty good I remember.

The girls were way prettier back then (1998-2004). Not sure what happened. Maybe more restaurants are taking the pretty girls from Hooters? Look at Sammy's on highland. The same time frame '98-04 girls were prettier than they are now.
When did Siegen hooters open, I want to say it was 2003?

The wings were not a huge pile of batter. I'm also not talking about their other food. You go to hooters to drink beer, eat wings, and look at girls.

Probably competition. The location worked ten years ago and not much has changed in the area. I do think the quality did take a dip when they opened up a second location. They seemed to take all the good looking girls to the new place to help get it started. It never really recovered.
The girls looking rather sub par has to be a main factor. Good looking girls that want to serve have much better options that pay just as much and probably more without looking like and treated like a complete whore.
Walkons hurts them for the
drinking beer, watching the game, and looking at girls type of customer. Pluckers hurts them in the wing, beer, game department. Twin Peaks took the affliction douche crowd, which isn't bad but its a paying customer.
Wings is also a much more common food so there's plenty of options around if you just want wings.
