Do you think that any of the defensive players that left last year would have stayed if they knew the offense would be what it is today or does money trump the possibility of the chase of a national championship. Just thinking that a few of them (not Mingo or Montgomery) could have really stood out this year....

I wish Morris Claiborne would have come back in 2012 so we could have redshirted him for this season.

Well maybe the fans shouldn't be so quick to rip on defensive players.

quote:

Reid is terrible, he takes the worst angles.

Montgomery gives up on certain plays.

Mingo is always off sides.

Any of this sound familiar?

A concern is one thing but constant dumping on players has an effect on those players. Even if you, the fans, think it doesn't. They hear about it.

My advice to all fans, myself included, is to cheer for the Tigers no matter what.

You never know what it takes to keep a player here his senior year. See Glenn Dorsey.

Support them, don't dump on them.

The thing that drives players out the door is the possibility of making money, and lots of it. Don't be fooled into thinking it's anything else.

If they're being talked about in the draft, they're going to bolt before they get injured and then get forgotten about. Just that simple.

money over everything. i think a couple of the players that left would have benefited from coming back this year.

Good question.... but probably not. Money talks as they say. We can only imagine how good this team would have been not only this season but last season if our new offensive coordinator had gotten here 1 year earlier. Oh well.... It is what it is. Deal with it!

If Logan and Minter would have been back that would have been enough.

Ciron Black and Chris Faulk helped to further this thought process too. It just is what it is. Get drafted in the top 3-4 rounds and theyre gone.

don't blame them, college is just a proving ground for their ultimate career which is the NFL.
Just the way it is. Only way to change it is to change the rules.

he is in Zona but I know for a fact 2 games he has been inactive which means he didn't dress and make the gameday roster. he is pretty much practice squad.

All 4 should have came back and this would be an even better team.

That's what i meant, he's on the practice team, not the 53. But i think that might be injury related.
