Any new news about Guice. I herd he was going to commit soon. I know he struggled against Rummel though, but I think CHS is going to bounce back.

He looked good in the open field, but that retarded offense they run will hurt his numbers. They'll never sustain enough drives against good teams.

Guice didn't struggle against Rummel. Catholic as a whole did. When he got the ball he looked good and scored their only TD.

Yea I wouldnt worry about Guice. Hes a stud. And he was coming back from an injury.

That said, I thought he was going to commit soon too. But, he hasnt yet. Not to worry though. Especially with Dylan Moses committing already. He and Guice grew up together and are like brothers.

Guice will be a Tiger. Hes only a JR. Has plenty of time to commit.

He is a really good player being coached by one of the best (if not THE best) coaches in the state. He will be fine! Look forward to seeing him in P&G

You mean the guy who got destroyed this week by a smaller team with a sophomore first year starter at QB? He makes Karrs staff look like Alabama's.

Catholic has three plays: guice dive for no gain, the hokey pokey, and the incompletion.

Anytime your QB is supposed to turn his back on the play as a normal routine, you are trying to fail...haha.

That being said, Catholic, if they could figure out how to play pro set without spinning around, they look like they have the personnel to be good.

I went to Catholic and played for Weiner. Hes a good man and good figurehead for the program.

But, IMO, this is Weiners MO. He over achieves with less talented teams, and underachieves with very talented teams/players. And its all because he runs the same offense, regardless of who he has on the team. He wont change his style/system to fit his players.

Spin works great against undisciplined teams, and it works when you have smaller/ not very talented OL. Its just basically a version of the veer/option offense. All about deception.

But when you have a loaded team, you dont run the spin. Simple as that.

Also a big reason why Catholic, and Weiner, has done so well the past however years was because of Garidel.
