Not sure if this has already been discussed, but where in the HILL was the real Jeremy? He had no burst against Georgia. Looked like a totally different back.

He had no holes and was tip toeing around trying to find a sliver. Although he did look a bit sluggish.

It was a SEC DEFENSE that practiced all week on stopping him. You guys are digging too deep.

Hill isn't the slam into the line long enough til they break back. Watch Lesean McCoy run. Hill is a bigger version of him. The offensive line has to make at least an initial hole so he doesn't have to tip toe in the backfield. Line play was garbage in the interior.

He did look a step slower. I wonder if he's playing hurt.

He looked either exhausted or hurt towards the end of the game.

It was not Hill,it was a good defense, a good interior line. Georgia was a good team. Remember, if not for one dropped punt , we would have won by 3 or 4 points. ,

can't really say that. Also bullshite to put the blame on one play when the defense blew coverage after coverage for 60 minutes

1st half - 10 carries, 24 yds

2nd half - 11 carries, 62 yds 1 TD

4 catches for 44 yds in the game (career high in catches)

looks like he eventually got going rushing in the and half, and that he contributed in other ways. but I guess that wasn't real enough...

It is hard to get good yardage when time after time you are hit in the backfield and have no holes to run through. LSU run blocking has been poor since the TCU game.

They took an extra day of prep time just to get that extra bit practice to tackle him better. I say it paid off. Just like Florida did to LSU in 2008. Practice makes perfect.

I am so glad you brought this up ! I noticed the same thing. He was tippy-toeing up to the line like he was afraid. Did not want to run between the tackles. He looks great against the Sisters of the Poor but against a real SEC team he wasn't so sure of himself. Not saying he's not a good back but maybe he's just a bit over-rated. Magee ran harder than he did,and so did Blue, and the other guy that never gets to play any more. Geez guys get it together or sharks will smell the blood from your wussys.
