What has Anthony Johnson done in 3 years here to have the title of "freak". I know he came here with the name with all of his intangibles and measuring off the chart. But he is the RUssell Shepard of the d-line in my opinion. Now I will go and eat shite and die for making this post

AJ looks like a freak, yeah. He certainly hasn't lived up to the hype at all.

no sense trashing any of the young men. I am certain he was playing hard.

the defense was fighting - they just didn't know what the hell they were doing.

but that doesn't make them bad or worthy of scorn.

In any given scheme that you're asked to play, certain responsibilities would go with it. It would appear that Anthony Johnson is doing his job by taking up two blockers. It would be inherent of the other three linemen to make plays seeing they are mostly in one-on-one situations.

IMO, they should move the linemen around and not make the blocking schemes so predictable.

With "all the hype" in recruiting about freak and Rasco I've been dissapointed. Throw in the #1 overall safety (Loston) and we have a few bust so far.

they're not "busts", they're just didn't/haven't developed into elite players as projected. Xavier Carter was a bust, Perrilloux was a bust. If you go back and chart what happened to the best of the best recruits across the country you would have a bell curve.

Solid, not special. Let's hope he and others realize that another year of seasoning is needed.

The truth is the truth. Lets stop with the sugar coating. Our defense is BAD. Yeah, Georgia is a pretty good team, but don't get confused, we have a BAD defense. They were bad against UAB, Kent St. and Auburn. The offense and winning games had all the sunshine pumpers giddy and they glossed over it.

The fact is Anthony Johnson and Ego Ferguson have been getting handled at the point of attack. They were hyped as a tandem to lead the defense. They have looked like they are wearing skates the way they get pushed around. I am very disappointed to this point in the season. I hope they turn it around. If they don't, then he is a BUST. Facts are facts. Take off the purple and gold glasses.

He was a freak in high school because he peaked early and dominated.

I'm just curious...How many of you want to be D'Coordinator's have re-watched the game over and over?

The truth is...Our LINEBACKER's SUCK...except for Alexander (but he is undersized).

If Ego and AJ command double teams...they have done their jobs. I don't think AJ was NOT double teamed all day. And lets not forget...he made the play that flipped the possessions in our favor...OBJ...gave it back!

I like that idea better than shitting on our players.
