Landry is the only consistent receiver on this team. Beckham's dropped punt was a turning point of the game. We need Landry back there to return punts and kickoffs. Does LSU owe Beckham anything? It just seems that LSU will continue to target Beckham more than Landry especially on the deep ball and red zone opportunities. LSU needs to make Landry the GO TO guy, not Beckham.

I think Mett throws to the guy with the best opportunity. I don't think they tell Mett NOT to throw to Landry. And our offense is fabulous. OBJ made one mistake. I'm sure you're free of them. Yes, it was a big mistake, but he wasn't doing anything fancy. It hit his face mask. I'm sure he's very sorry for your sake.

I'd just assume see 80 as I would 3 returning kicks.. With that said, objr is more than capable.

So the guy that caught 10 balls in this game (OBJ had "only" 6) is not the "go to" guy right?

Anything else you would like to complain about?

I bet every poster that is shitting on Beckham right now was sucking his fricking nuts when he caught that pass on 3rd and 23 to lead our last scoring drive.

If we need defensive backs, Landry can play that too. Just kidding, but he would probably be better. Beckham consistently drops a pass every game and in this game he drops a punt. I would be curious about which receiver is targeted more. Forget about catches, he will catch more than Beckham, thats a given. The key word is Targeted, how many times is the designated play a target for Beckham. Most of Landrys catches is when he is the 2nd guy in rotation of the play called. It just seems like they are trying hard to make Beckham the star.

If we target Landry anymore, don't you think teams would just start double and triple teaming him on every play? Do you realize Odell typically runs the deep routes because he's faster and Landry runs the crossing routes because he's more physical? When Les gets fired next week, will you please put your application in?

BOTH Landry and Beckham are capable. If you watched the game both guys came up with big plays to keep us in the game. Regardless of the Beckham's fumble, he did come through at important times throughout. It was ultimately the defense that was the determining factor at the end. Defense wins games. Unfortunately ours lost the game for us in the end not Beckham's fumble. When we needed a stop it wasn't there. On the game winning drive for Georgia, our defense was in perfect position to get the ball a couple of times but never did. The rest is history. You can blame Beckham all you want for the game, but he has come through more times than the defense has that's for sure.

Thank you. He and Landry were both clutch on that drive. We needed the defense to be that way and they weren't.

Too many people on here keep tryin to blame Beckham which is just dumb! Mistakes happen! If you ever tried fielding a punt you would know that the direction of the ball can change in the air with wind being a factor or the punter puttin some spin on it. Which is basically what happened in this instance, he went to field it and the direction of it changed and it his facemask and bounced off. I've seen this happen to a lot of punt return men. Beckham has come a ways in catching as he proved in the second half. He's more sure handed now than ever.
