Alum or not Corey Raymond is not Ron Cooper. Enough busted coverages might not even be Maleveto.

Why not blame Haley because there was absolutely no pressure from the DL either?

Fundamental mistakes were glaring.

I really don't think it's coaching. Corey played in the NFL and knows how to play and coach. This team was beat physicaly.

The no pressure was bad but we were blowing coverage so badly I'm not sure pressure would help. I do think brick should take some heat though

True. But with more pressure means pressured throws. There were none of those yesterday. You absolutely cannot leave your DBs covering that long. If you do......well, you saw it. A good QB will tear you apart.

Our secondary has been under whelming since Cooper left, including last year. It's absolutely coaching. Let's make a rally to get Cooper back.

Did anyone really think losing 9 underclassmen would not have a consequence?

my personal grades-

collins - F

mills - C-

Martin - D

Loston - D

Eugene - D

Thomas - C

Thompson - C

White - C-

collins is bad. mills is not good but i think he is pressing too hard trying to be the next great one. dude needs to settle down and trust his natural playmaking abilities. when the ball is in the air, focus on his coverage.

martin isn't terrible but is out of position or mixing signals with the corner too much. eugene is a better fit roaming near the LOS as a poor man's honey badger. loston can't cover and could probably have about 5 interceptions if he kept his eye on the ball and didn't lower his head looking to kill the receiver every time.

white was in good position yesterday just got beat a couple times. thompson is still learning on the job. thomas seems t only be out there on obvious passing downs, it would be nice to see him catch an INT one time.

my main worry is up front, no pressure and every time we tried to generate some on 3rd downs i just saw hunter rushing way upfield while freak got doubled in the middle. linebackers are what they are.
